Yes CHILLI, thanks for sharing this. The Yonezawa Space Explorer is indeed one of the toughest robots to repair. Great that you brought him back to life.

I can add these boxes - A with head Switch - B without. The difference is only to be seen on the side flap. They just changed the text on the second one .... starting with the word "SWITCH ON". The new text is a bit too short to close the gap of the older text. So we can admit, that the two switch version should be the older one.... Words of wisdom Joe, words of wisdom. Just like many words of wisdom, they come a little too late. Not only being switched off in the wrong upright position, I'd bet a ton of kids as well as parents physically pushed the head down on this fragile robot to compress it to original position. What a shame. If only they could have seen into the future and witnessed us collectors being upset! :blub:
