chilli
Buy some cheap animal toys, non working and take apart slowly so you can learn how the tabs work. Fix up a remote with the wires bare ( or clips), add a bulb in if you like , then test various bits of the workings with a bit of battery power. That way you can see if the motor works an which wire are loose etc.You can always save all the bits, such a s eyes and remotes. New robots are not made the same so not much point. The roto was a quite late on but because it is delicate leave it a year so you can know what you are doing.( this is only my take on things, we all learn our own way)Just in case anyone is new and is still finding their way round robots etc can I just suggest that you buy cheap pound shop batteries. Not Duracell type high power ones, as these are slightly physically bigger and cause the doors of Horikawas to gape open. For a Dux they are ok but for all else go for the less power versions, you dont need to run an old robot for long anyhowcheersChilli
