Roboto
I took a chance on this one because it was also a buy it now with that still new in box listing you never know what may happen once the item arrives.
The Toyman
I've already mentioned the two Nomura Batman Robots that I bought via Ebay but the listings made it a difficult decision both times...poor pictures, sorry picture ( singular) plus a vague description, oh! and 0 feedback on one and just a few feedbacks on the other one. On both occasions I actually phoned the sellers to sound them out, which boosted my confidence and calmed my nerves. So then I waited....and waited....and after waiting for five weeks for the first one I rang the main sorting office here in Perth ( Aus ) to see what had happened, I gave the tracking number and was told that as the tracking code had the letters PER in the code, Batman had gone to PERU!!!! I said NO!!!! surely not???? but after some serious deliberation and re checking it was agreed that PER was in fact Perth and NOT Peru <phew> . So I waited a few more days and he arrived. I had a similiar delay on the second Batman but he arrived safe and sound....it's typical that the two most expensive Ebay items I've bought took by far the longest to arrive! chilli
....and that's the results I am talking about. It is really satisfying when you eventually get them in your hands, knowing it was a 50-50 chance of the deal going wrong. They were definitely worth the risk. Nice ones. cheers Chilli
chilli
Well, result. The beginning of this thread I have a 2 pictures that were the only reference I had to the car and robot. I was a good price so did not ask to much about them, not wanting to get the price going up. they arrived today, and after a bit of a polish the result is below. A gorgeous alps futra lincoln concept car (the forerunner of the batmobile) and a fantastic Strenco robot. I did not realise they have a little on off bar on the side of thebackpack and that the legs are gold.He walked perfect as soon as wound up. Definately worth gamble this time. cheers Chilli ( a beer to celebrate I reckon)
