The letter on the battery lid on the back seems to be korean to me. Perhaps the King TV Robot was made by SJM.

They made similar copies of original Horikawa examples.

the robot has a good looking head with the mouth, never seen this with horikawas.

if it is korean I like it even more :)

hope to find one day the one with the Tv AND the record playing mechanism

The plastic body parts mixed with the metal legs makes for a odd look, but I love it. A TV robot with sound. Too cool!
