robothut Posted January 3, 2010 Author Share Posted January 3, 2010 The problem with most trasin heaters is that they are ment for higher voltage in the 12 to 24 volt range normaly. There are some train smokers that have built in voltage regulators, this way the smoker can start working around 8 volts and work up to 24 volts, if you by pass the regulator you can get them going around 6 volts or so. The one you picked out is ment to be powered from the assesory power of the train transformer and that is normaly around 18 volts AC. Also most train smokers are petroleum based smokers so will smell and will not put out as much smoke as the water vapor cig unit will.The cig parts were shipped very fast when I ordered on line, about 3 days!They have starter kits that have everything or you can buy just the heaters and cartidges cheep!http://www.e-healthcigarettes.com/ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
